Description of Training

The Emmett Technique Pelvic Care Course is a specialised course for Emmett Practitioners who have attained Emmett Practitioner Level 3 (EP3). This course goes into more anatomical depth and function of the Pelvic Floor and other core muscles that support the organs in the hips. This course breaks down the Emmett Technique sequences and demonstrates the importance of each move and how it can assist clients with pelvic issues such as bladder / bowel incontinence, erectile dysfunction, testicle or ovary pain, post surgical care of prostate or hysterectomy surgery.

How the Training is Delivered

This workshop is a 'hands on,' practical learning experience. Your local Australasian Instructor Gemma will be going over each technique and providing a description of the indications of the moves followed by a clinical demonstration. The moves presented will then be practiced by the group with supervision of the instructor. After the practice with the new move there is a group discussion and feedback on what students have discovered, felt and all questions will be answered. Students are encouraged to wear light, loose clothing to access the points more easily.

1. Post Hysterectomy discomfort
2. Post Prostatectomy discomfort
3. Bladder dysfunction
4. Bowel dysfunction
5. Erectile dysfunction
6. Ovary pain / Endometriosis
7. Sequence of treatments and treatment plans 

Who the Training is Good For

This course is good for Emmett Practitioners who have completed Emmett Practitioner Level 3 (EP3) and wanting to gain further, in-depth knowledge for their clients experiencing Pelvic issues.

The Cairns course is currently held at the Cairns Sheridan Hotel. Parking is available at the premises and you can access it via Sheridan or McLeod St.
