Description of Training

The Emmett Technique Practitioner Level (EP1) is the beginning of the advanced levels for Emmett clinicians. This training will implement the use of the practitioners assessment skills and combining a selection of Emmett Technique moves in a sequence to best benefit our client. The practitioner training involves not just the mechanics of the moves, but which sequence we would gain the best result for our clients.

How the Training is Delivered

This workshop is a 'hands on,' practical learning experience. Your local Emmett Technique Australasian Instructor Gemma will be going over each technique and providing a description of the indications of the moves followed by a clinical demonstration. The moves presented will then be practiced by the group with supervision of the instructor. After the practice with the new move there is a group discussion and feedback on what students have discovered, felt and all questions will be answered. Students are encouraged to wear light, loose clothing to access the points more easily.

Training Topics Covered

The following muscle releases are covered in EP1:

1. Spinal Balance - assists with body balance and focus
2. Oesophagus Release - assist with reflux
3. Atlas / Axis - assist with balance
4. Deep Deltoid Pain - assist with deltoid pain
5. Ischium Release - assist with deep pain in hamstring muscle
6. Jaw Release - assist with jaw tension / headaches
7. Lymphatic Treatment - assist with fluid retention and sluggish lymphatic system
8. Bowel sequence - assist with lymphatic sequence
9. Combination sequences to release and relax the restricted area

Who the Training is Good For

This course is available to students who have completed the Emmett Technique Client Clinic Day.

Location

The Cairns course is currently held at the Cairns Sheridan Hotel. Parking is available at the premises and you can access it via Sheridan or McLeod St.
