Description of Training

The Emmett Technique Module 5 workshop is a continuation from the Module 4 training and focuses on extending further muscle releases of the body and the indications for each move. On the first day the Emmett Technique Module 4 moves are revisited, revised with all queries and questions being answered before commencing the next level of the technique in Module 5. 

How the Training is Delivered

This workshop is a 'hands on,' practical learning experience. Your local Australasian Instructor Gemma will be going over each Technique and providing a description of the indications of the moves followed by a clinical demonstration. The moves presented will then be practiced by the group with supervision of the instructor. After the practice with the new move there is a group discussion and feedback on what students have discovered, felt and all questions will be answered. Students are encouraged to wear light, loose clothing to access the points more easily.

Training Topics Covered

The following muscle releases are covered in Emmett Technique Module 5: 

1. Chest Release - assists with shoulder pain
2. Jaw - assists with jaw pain / restriction and headaches
3. Head / Jaw - assists with facial tension and headaches
4. Scalenes / Pectoralis Minor - assists with neck rotation
5. Sinus Sequence - assists with sinus headaches and drainage
6. Knee Release for Deep Knee Pain - assists with extending knee
7. Quad Release - assists with quad pain and tightness
8. Ankle Release - assists with tightness and discomfort in and around the ankle
9. Sacrum / TFL - assists with sacrum and back pain
10. Piriformis - assists with gluteal / sciatic or lower back pain

Who the Training is Good For

This course is available to students who have completed Emmett Technique Module 4 training.

The Cairns course is currently held at the Cairns Sheridan Hotel. Parking is available at the premises and you can access it via Sheridan or McLeod St.
