Description of Training

The Emmett Technique Client Clinic Day is a continuation from the Module 6 training. This weekend goes through the Foundation of Emmett Technique, revising its principles along with introduction on how to apply the technique. On the first day the Emmett Technique Module 6 moves are revisited, revised with all queries and questions being answered before continuing onto day 2 which focuses more on the sequences to treat clients.

How the Training is Delivered

This workshop is a 'hands on,' practical learning experience. Your local Emmett Technique Australasian Instructor Gemma will be going over each technique by providing a description of the indications of the moves followed by a clinical demonstration. The moves presented will then be practiced by the group with supervision of the instructor. After the practice with the new move there is a group discussion and feedback on what students have discovered, felt and all questions will be answered. Students are encouraged to wear light, loose clothing to access the points more easily.

Training Topics Covered

This training will involve the combining of moves in a sequence that has been learnt from Modules 1- 6  to gain the best benefits for our clients. Examples of clinical scenarios are demonstrated and followed through with the students to gain a better understanding of the sequence.

Some suggested sequences are:

1. 1. Lower Back Pain sequence
   2. Shoulder Pain sequence
   3. Hip Pain sequence
   4. Knee Pain sequence
   5. Lymphatic Drainage
   6. Heel Pain sequence
   7. Neck Pain sequence
   8. Treatment for Bladder Issues

Who the Training is Good For

This course is available to students who have completed Emmett Technique Module 6 training. It is also beneficial as review for students who are studying Emmett Practitioner levels.

Location

The Cairns course is currently held at the Cairns Sheridan Hotel. Parking is available at the premises and you can access it via Sheridan or McLeod St.
